Silver, above ground, is more rare than gold! There is seven times as much gold above ground as compared to silver!

The Silver Nightmare Will Be Over Soon -- Ted Butler

Halloween couldn't have been more terrifying for silver investors. The gray metal cracked under $16/oz on Friday, a price not seen for nearly half a decade.

For years now, it's seemed like silver was beaten up so badly its price couldn't go lower. But then it would.

Why has silver been beaten down so badly? (now down 2/3 compared to it's high in late 2011). And will it ever see brighter days again?

This weekend, Chris has a long discussion with silver expert Ted Butler on the real culprit behind the wild price slams that have plagued silver: unfairly concentrated positions within the derivatives market.

MAKE SURE YOU GET PHYSICAL SILVER IN YOUR OWN POSSESSION. Don't Buy SLV, or Futures or Pooled Accounts or any other BS paper silver product .Remember anything on paper is worth the paper it is written on. Go Long Stay long the bull market have even started yet

Suing JPMorgan and the COMEX -- Ted Butler

I’ve had some recent conversations with attorneys who were considering class-action lawsuits regarding a gold price manipulation stemming from reports about the London Gold Fix. I told them that while there is no doubt that gold and, particularly, silver are manipulated in price, I didn’t see how the manipulation stemmed from the London Fix. I wished them well and hoped that they may prevail (the enemy of my enemy is my friend), because you never know – if the lawyers dig deep enough they might find the real source of the gold and silver manipulation, namely, the COMEX (owned by the CME Group) and JPMorgan.
So I thought it might be constructive to lay out what I thought a successful lawsuit might look like, although I’m speaking as a precious metals analyst and not as a lawyer. I’ll try to put the whole thing into proper perspective, including the premise and scope of the manipulation as well as the parties involved.
The first thing I should mention is how unprecedented it is that I’m writing this in the first place. Here I am, directly and consistently accusing two of the world’s most important financial institutions of market manipulation (making sure I send each all my accusations) and I have received no complaint from either. I don’t think that has ever occurred previously. Now I am taking it one step further; presenting a guide for how and why JPMorgan and the CME should be sued for their manipulation of gold and silver (and copper, too).

Ted Butler : Wait for the Silver Shortage to end the Manipulation -- March 20 2014

Instead of simply waiting for the silver shortage to end the manipulation, I thought it advisable to try a new approach that was completely compatible with the real silver story to date. Since I (we) couldn’t get the CFTC to do its job and end the manipulation; why not try a different approach? The truth is that I have long believed that the right civil lawsuit stood a good chance at ending the manipulation before a silver shortage hit. I had high hopes initially that the class-action suit that was filed against JPMorgan for manipulating the price of silver a few years ago might succeed; but it seemed to drift off track and I wasn’t particularly surprised that it was ultimately dismissed. My intent should be clear – I want to see the next lawsuit succeed.
The stakes in a COMEX silver/gold/copper manipulation lawsuit are staggering. Not only is market manipulation the most serious market crime possible, the markets that have been manipulated and the number of those injured are enormous. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that any finding that JPMorgan and the COMEX did manipulate prices as I contend could very well result in the highest damage awards in history. That’s no small thing considering the tens of billions of dollars that JPMorgan has coughed up recently for infractions in just about every line of their business. - Silver analyst Ted Butler: 19 March 2014   -- in the street.com

Ted Butler on Silver Shortages

Silver was around $ 4.02 an Oz in 2000, now it's nearly $28, now that's investment! I'm buying for the longterm, my silver is for keeps unless there's a massive price explosion. Gold for February delivery was tanking $16.20 to $1,328.20 an ounce at the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. The gold price Tuesday has traded has high as $1,338 and as low as $1,321.90. The spot gold price was holding up better supported by physical buying down only $5.30, according to Kitco's gold index

Ted Butler : ...No one knows for sure. It comes down to how much additional long liquidation the big shorts can engineer. We are still above all the critical moving averages, so there does exist the possibility we could go lower to get the technical funds completely flushed out. For sure, if we do go lower, it will be because JPMorgan and the other COMEX crooks are successful in tricking the technical funds into forced selling and not for any other reason. But there has been significant liquidation already, so it is just as possible it could be done or nearly so. Certainly there is nothing in the real world of silver that would account for further selling.

Ted Butler there are 550 million ounces less that can be transferred in the future

Ted Butler : Since 2006, more than 550 million ounces have been transferred from unreported silver into reported world inventories, including the SLV and all other similar programs. Currently there are more than 716 million ounces in total world visible silver bullion inventories. That’s a very big chunk of my long-time estimate of one billion ounces in total world inventories. The way to look at it is that there are 550 million ounces less that can be transferred in the future. The long-term rise in price would seem to confirm my thinking.

Ted Butler on Gold and Silver ETFs

This is from an interview with Ted Butler on Financial Sense Radio talking about the current silver demand and the potential for default of the gold and silver ETF's on the COMEX. This interview is dated 10-25-2008.Best to own physical silver and gold.I think the scam is coming to an end. People are going into PM Buy more gold/silver and hang on.. We are going to need it They're not taking it to free mkt level. Because of the COMEX will go bust and there is no way in hell they can survive in 2011. By end of 20110 is my prediction that COMEX will go bust. THey had isues delivery last April and got gold in the nick of time from ECB who sold tons of gold

What happened to the physical world? Everything now is paper and certificates!! I have 100 tons of firewood here for sale, but I can only sell you paper certificates! Winter is going to be coming soon and it's a good idea to invest early. I also have 500 gallons of oil certificates too and I also sell pigs that fly certifcates as well.

Ted Butler on unreported inventories that can come into the market

Ted Butler : Unless you have Superman’s x-ray vision and can see all the world’s vaults simultaneously, there is no way to know how much is left in unreported inventories.  And I guarantee that you will make yourself crazy if you persist in trying to figure out the amount remaining

Ted Butler on the COMEX silver

Ted Butler: COMEX silver is the only market which must have position limits radically reduced from the current accountability level. In all other commodities, including gold, the level of position limits is not so important because the short position is not that large.  In silver, it’s the core issue.

The mantra for buying physical is "If you don't hold it you don't own it"
Take delivery is my two cents. Depending on how much you have will depend on the level of security. Personally I store mine in my rifle safe. I'll be in the market for a new safe soon and I will be putting serious (for me) money into buying the best that I can.
It'd also depend on your world out look.
Best of luck

Ted Butler on Silver Shortages

This is from an interview with Ted Butler on Financial Sense Radio talking about the shortages in the silver market. This interview is dated 10-25-2008.I tell you what. If people are to lazy to invest in themselves so be it. I refuse to miss out on this. I am out of work and I'm still trying to get as much silver as I can. I will see you at the top of the silver mountain King. Simple as this, there is nothing backing the U.S. dollar. It is worthless & perpetual debt. Take paper currency & burn it and see what you get. Melt silver or gold, it has many uses from industrial to medical, electronics...etc. Even copper is undervalued by 60% You will see copper hit $10/lb in the next few years. Nickels and penny's have more value than paper currency, its a metal! Buy growing seeds, tools, guns, bullets anything besides holding Federal Reserve toilet paper.

Between this clip and the numerous other ones featuring Gerald Celente regarding purchasing silver & gold, the low number of views really shows you how very few people actually know whats going on.

Bought me some more silver yesterday and im going to pick up some more gold today.

Enjoy the rest of your inflastion filled year Micollision!!!!!
Silver Shortage
GOLD is the money of the KINGS, SILVER is the money of the GENTLEMEN, BARTER is the money of the PEASANTS, but DEBT is the money of the SLAVES!!!
